The main characters are so cute and the message so important. Great story about friendship and how to treat others. I would like to see more adventures of Maggie and Aster! Great book for children!

I thought this book was very good in giving a child a sense of how special nature is, and how you can handle a situation with the love and caring of others. The words used in the book are not childish. They give the child a vocabulary of adjectives and description which they can use throughout their life.

My grandchildren loved this book. The vocabulary paints the picture of the low country, marsh, and beach creatures for little ones. There are messages about telling the truth, believing in one self, saving the neighborhood, and the dangers from natural calamities. My 5 year old grandson loved it and amazingly went right to sleep.
